Internet Privacy and Cookies Policy
At Ebor Bikes we are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document (the "Policy") has been provided by the legal resource www.diylegals.co.uk and the template has been reviewed and approved by their solicitors.
This Privacy Policy explains what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you whilst you visit our site.
As of May 2018 this policy has been slightly updated to make clear that it accords with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is taking effect in Europe on 25 May 2018. The GDPR improves transparency and data privacy rights of individuals.
We do update this Policy from time to time so please do review this Policy regularly.
Information We Collect
In running and maintaining our website we may collect and process the following data about you:
- Information about your use of our site including details of your visits such as pages viewed and the resources that you access. Such information includes the currency you use, location data and other communication data.
- Information provided voluntarily by you. For example, we store your email address when you make a purchase. If you register with us then we store your logon password and address details to help you in subsequent visits to our store. Customers who register with us can have their registration data deleted at any time. To request this an e-mail request should be sent to sales@eborbikes.com. We undertake to respond and confirm our actions by e-mail to those who make such requests.
- Information that you provide when you communicate with us by any means.
- Because we only take payments by PayPal and direct funds transfer, we never see and therefore cannot store any payment information relating to any customer.
- We keep records of all online purchases by customers for the time period required by UK tax law and we do not delete such records within that timeframe. After that time period these records are deleted.

We never give your details to third parties to use your data to enable them to provide you with information regarding unrelated goods or services.
Storing Your Personal Data

For example, the parts of the web site concerned with purchasing uses the HTTPS secure protocol.
Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. Thus, in common with other e-commerce sites, we cannot guarantee the security of data that is sent between your computer and our web site electronically.
